The parking lot needs more regular maintenance to keep it free of trash!!! Also, the gym lacks sufficient equipment for a proper workout!!! Overall, the hotel appears outdated and could significantly benefit from a modern upgrade.

Comfortable beds and great breakfast options

I recently stayed for 2 nights and found the beds super comfortable! The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, including fresh pastries and various juices. The staff were pleasant and eager to assist, making my stay enjoyable. However, the bathroom could use some minor updates for a better experience.

During our five-night stay, we enjoyed the clean and comfortable room. The breakfast options were plentiful, catering well to both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. I appreciated the convenience of having a microwave in the room, which made it easy to heat up snacks. However, communication between staff was lacking at times, and there were a few minor issues with food temperature during breakfast. Overall, it was a decent experience, but improvements could be made.

Amazing room with balcony, but Wi-Fi was slow at times.

The hotel had clean and comfortable rooms. We loved the fitness center, where I could keep up with my workouts while the kids enjoyed the nearby DuPage Children's Museum. The staff was friendly and accommodating, which made our stay even better.

My kids wished for a bigger pool area for more fun activities.

i absolutely loved my stay at the holiday inn express! the remodel is fantastic, and my standard king room was clean and bright. the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the breakfast offered a variety of options. the staff were really friendly, and they even let us check out a jacuzzi suite!

Check-in went smoothly. The front desk staff was friendly and even acknowledged my Platinum status. My Executive King room was spacious and clean, which I appreciated. The location had plenty of restaurant options nearby. However, the hotel is showing its age. The decor felt dark and outdated, not what I expect from Holiday Inn Express. I struggled to find convenient outlets for my devices at the desk. Also, the air conditioner needed a good cleaning. it had a lot of dust in the vent. The breakfast was mediocre with items that weren’t kept at the right temperature. Overall, I left a bit disappointed.

Just a strong match for a swift visit in Downers Grove with decent value for money. Breakfast was fresh and warm every morning, which was a nice surprise. Be cautious of wet floors in the parking lot during winter.
